They have a new line of double stack M1911a1 style 9mm handguns coming. They have alloy frames, but with replaceable polymer grips. They are called the Springfield Prodigy 1911DS. Keep your eyes open for the marketing. WebI’m looking for some different weight recoil springs for the 4.25” Prodigy. Anyone had luck finding 8-10lb springs? Specifically for the 4.25”?

Also, a Commander spring is way longer than the stock Springfield spring in OAL. But I didn't measure the wire diameter or number of coils, so I'm not sure what the stack height is vs. the stock spring.
