I can see stamped on the base of the element on one side it says '4500w 240v' and on the other side is says 'alt 3500w 208v'. I looked at home depot and they do not have any 208v elements. But it says "total watts connected : 4500 watts" I've always wondered how two 4500 w elements can be only 4500 w connected, I obviously don't understand how they work.
