However, a large proportion of pts with UC are considered “unfit” for cisplatin, leading to clinical trials designed specifically for cisplatin-ineligible pts, with substantial variability in eligibility criteria. WebCisplatin is known to have an additive or synergistic effect in combination with gemcitabine in a number of different tumor types (e.g., lung, 9 bladder, 10 and head and neck 11 cancers).
